Nicole Diekmann and Stephan Anpalagan show how we can debate and why it's worth arguing. Each episode of Versus deals with a burning issue of our time. Dress codes in schools, a nationwide 4-day week, the benefits and dangers of AI, how much privacy celebrities are entitled to in public spaces...
The debates in Versus are as diverse as they are relevant - socially, politically and culturally. At the end, we as listeners know the strongest arguments of both positions and make up our own minds where we stand. In the spirit of freedom of expression. Every Wednesday, Nicole Diekmann and Stephan Anpalagan debate a topic. They position themselves at opposite ends of the spectrum.
The trick: their positions are drawn by lot. This means that both take the pro and the con side. Journalistic differentiation guaranteed. They are often persistent, sometimes personal, always up to date with the latest developments and prepared to argue against their own convictions when in doubt. Because that is Versus' greatest goal: to prove that it is worth arguing and that there are good arguments on both sides of most issues.
