About the hosts:
After his editorial training and medical studies, Dr Dennis Ballwieser worked as an anaesthesiologist at the University Hospital in Munich. He has been managing director since 2015 and additionally editor-in-chief of Apotheken Umschau since 2020.
Dr Laura Weisenburger studied human medicine and is a specialist in visceral surgery. She spent nine years caring for and operating on people in various clinics. In May 2019, she laid down the scalpel and started working as a journalist in the editorial department of Apotheken Umschau and its sister magazines.
