Art is one of those things. Most people have no idea about it, but is that true? What does that even mean? A painting, for example, either pleases or it doesn't. Or doesn't it? No one needs all the gobbledygook around it, except perhaps the studied art and cultural scientists who have learned art history by heart and like to bore party guests with their extensive knowledge. So it's time to talk about art and pictures in a completely different way. Just like about cars, jeans or tents. Straightforward and without frills, honest and without regard for losses. 

Timo Blunck, self-proclaimed art philistine, musician and author, has made room at home. On the wall. For the art. A picture is needed. His old friend Jürgen Nerger, gallery owner, author and creative head of GUDBERG NERGER, is there to help. Despite all their differences, they have one thing in common: they hate the usual gobbledygook about art and have to come to an agreement somehow. In episode 1, for example, Jürgen tries to convince his old friend of another Timo. The Hamburg painter Timo von Eicken and his large-format collage entitled "Placebo Domingo".
