Drage in the summer of 2015: In the small northern German village, the Schulze family of three disappears from one day to the next. At first, the search efforts remain unsuccessful, then the police find the father of the family - dead, in the Elbe. There is no possibility of foul play. But the bodies of the wife and daughter are not found - until today. This multi-part podcast series traces the disappearance on location and lets relatives, investigators, and reporters have their say and makes the gap left by such a loss tangible in an exciting and empathetic way. The series not only reconstructs the case and the investigation, but also focuses on the emotional world of the bereaved: the powerlessness, the grief, the questions.
