"Hirn&Hupen" is all about women, because even in 2022 there are still far too many taboos and illusions. In other words, the female body, including the psyche and sexuality, is still not discussed as openly as we are often led to believe through social media, the press and podcasts. After all, who talks openly and honestly about the unfulfilled desire to have children, sexual preferences from the age of 60, sexual violence, vaginal dryness or masturbation? To touch on a few topics here.
Kawai and Frost certainly do and want to make exactly such topics a matter of discussion - driven by the desire to strengthen women in their individuality. Thus, the two friends share not only open communication but also their honest interest in the topic of " Women". Within 24 episodes, the different topics are discussed in four-week thematic blocks by Frost and Kawai in a personal, loving and socio-political way.
